Clarisonic Deep Pore Brush Heads

I finally got round to buying some new brush heads for my Clarisonic – yay! It is recommended that you replace your brush heads every six months (I’m only two months late..). For the past month my skin has been really bad for breakouts which is what preasured me into buying some more. I can’t decide whether the breakouts are due to my brush head or the fact I’ve just came off holiday and my pores are blocked from the sun cream.

The brush head replacements aren’t cheap so after browsing the internet for the cheapest I could find, it turned out Current Body had the best deal on. I managed to get a deep pore twin pack for just £28.90 (they’re usually around £21 for one for £35 for two) with a discount code they were promoting. Although I opted for standard delivery, I received my order the following day which was great.

If you have not replaced your brush before, you can do so simply by pressing it in and twisting it until it pops off, the new head goes on in a similar way.

I decided to choose the deep pore cleansing brush heads this time as I figured they would give me a better cleanse than the basic brush. Especially after returning from my summer holiday where my pores have been getting clogged with sun cream, I thought the deep pore twin pack would be just what I needed to get my skin back to normal. I’ve only been using my new brush for a week and already I can see that my skin looks noticeably better; it appears more radiant and spot free. Although the brushes seemed like a splurge, the two heads they will last me a year in total which makes it all ok, right?

What are your thoughts on the Clarisonic? Which brush heads do you prefer from the brand?
