Travel | 5 Places to Wine and Dine in Marmaris, Turkey
One of my favourite things about travelling abroad is discovering the cuisine they have to offer. Marmaris is a beautiful place and what’s even better is their food is affordable yet tastes delicious! As Marmaris is a popular holiday destination, I thought I would note down some of my favourite places to wine and dine whilst visiting. Hopefully this post will help you plan your trip and make it a memorable one. Enjoy!
For a proper British Breakfast, Oasis (situated close to hotel Anastasia) is the place you want to be! It’s funny how we all long to be abroad but from the minute we arrive we are trying to hunt down the best English breakfast we can find! The bacon and sausages gave me a real taste of home.
If you want to start your day as you mean to go on, I would suggest having your breakfast at Dost. Tuck into a full English breakfast whilst watching the sun rise from the tranquil sea! Dost is a beautiful restaurant that has a very clean and contemporary feel to it.
Located on the corner by the harbour, Three Palms is a lovely restaurant that has a rooftop terrace which is perfect for people watching and watching the boats sail in and out of the harbour. We indulged in some beautiful frozen cocktails before tucking into a delicious three course meal. Their homemade garlic butter is amazing and their brownies are making me drool just thinking about them.
Before we arrived in Marmaris, me and my friends had heard good things about Natalie’s Steak House so we knew we had to visit. Upon arrival we were asked what our favourite music artists were so they could play them for us, which was a nice personal touch. There were so many different steaks to choose from with plenty of sides and sauces to help make it your own. I was quite unconventional because I chose to have gravy with my steak but it was so delicious that I don’t care!
For our last supper before we headed back home, my friend’s brother recommended we try Stella which is a restaurant situated along the beach front. We sat upstairs where we had a fantastic view of Marmaris beach. The presentation was wonderful and the portions were really big. If you get a chance to visit I would definitely recommend trying their homemade pink lemonade which is served in a jam jar to wash down your meal.
Have you visited Marmaris before? Where is your favourite place to wine and dine?
