MyProtein Christmas Box

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you’ve all had a lovely time over this festive period. I’m back and have so many posts to share with you all so let’s get to it! Today I’m sharing a little review on a box I bought just before Christmas. With everybody starting their New Years resolutions I thought it would be a good post to help you kickstart 2016.

I’ve mentioned MyProtein in a few posts last year and they are a great company to help you reach your health and fitness goals. When I spotted this protein Christmas box I knew I had to have it. The box is packed full of festive treats that you can enjoy without feeling guilty whilst continuing to strive towards your fitness goals during the indulgent season. My main reason for buying this box was so I could sample some of the brand’s snacks as I’ve never tried any of them before.

What’s in the box?

  • Myprotein Energy Bar, Berry
  • High Protein Flapjack, Traditional Oat
  • Protein Cookie, Rocky Road
  • Turkey Jerky, Stuffed, 50g
  • Impact Pump Blend, Grape, 20g
  • Myprotein Smartshake Slim Shaker
  • Myprotein Christmas Vest
  • Omega 3 – 90 Softgels

So far I’ve tried the energy bar, protein cookie and the pre-workout pump blend. The impact pump blend is an innovative new product from MyProtein which contains zero caffeine. It’s flavoured with grape and is really easy to drink and whilst I didn’t see a massive difference in the gym, it did help me stay focused for longer.

As for the energy bar, I ate it for breakfast before the gym which gave me enough energy to power through an hours session. The bar was packed with dried berries which made it really tasty.

I wasn’t much of a fan of the protein cookie as like most high-protein snacks, it was quite chewy and had a powder-like texture. If you’re looking to increase your protein intake then the cookies are great as they have over 30g of protein per serving however they’re not as nice as they look.

MyProtein Christmas Box

The MyProtein Christmas box is still available online but I suspect there are limited boxes and they will probably stop selling them by next week (unless they go in the sale!). They’re always running special promotion codes on their website so you can easily get your hands on their products for less than their RRP. I managed to get free next day delivery and 20% off my purchase when I ordered this box.

I’m hoping these treats will give me the kickstart I need to get back into a routine after the Christmas holidays.
