Hair | Cloud Nine: Magical Quick Dry Potion Review
I’ve recently got back into swimming and although I’m really enjoying it, the chlorine has really taken its toll on my hair. Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been attempting to get my hair back in tip-top condition after the chlorine has savaged it; I started using a new shampoo and conditioner, bought a conditioning hair mask and finally decided to try out this ‘miracle’ spray by Cloud Nine. I’ve had my eye on the magical quick dry potion since I got a set of wide iron straighteners by Cloud Nine for my birthday but I had my doubts that the product wouldn’t live up to its fantasy name and the price of the full size version wasn’t worth the risk (£17.95 for 200ml).
My hair was ridiculously static and lifeless, so much so I had to wear it up as there was nothing I could do with it. One day I was browsing ASOS and noticed they had a travel size of the Cloud Nine quick dry hair potion available for £5.99 so I decided to make the purchase.
The magical quick dry potion promised to solve a lot of my daily hair struggles, claiming to reduce hair drying time by half, protect it from heated appliances, reduce frizz, have a UV filter and be anti-static. Of course I was a bit dubious that all of these problems would be solved but you know what? It actually worked.
Girls with long, thick hair will understand the daunting task of drying your hair so when I heard about the magical quick dry potion from Cloud Nine I really wanted to test it out. You don’t need much for the spray to work its magic so a little goes a long way, my hair seems to dry so much quicker when I use the spray which I’m over the moon with! The static from my hair was gone after one use of the spray which was amazing too.
The overall condition of my hair seems to have improved and it feels lighter and softer than normal. As I mentioned earlier, I swapped my shampoo and conditioner however I’ve skipped using the spray on a couple of occasions and can see a noticeable difference in my hair when I use it.
You can buy the full size spray directly from the Cloud Nine website.
